Day 3: Swansea to Conwy – 195 miles

The route from Swansea to Conwy is blessed with some stunning roads and spectacular views.

Wales is famed for its roads and the route to Conwy will not disappoint with a tour of some 195 miles that promises to be a driver’s delight.

From Swansea the route heads North West through the valleys towards the Cardigan Bay coastline and Aberystwyth, then onwards through the Dovey Valley to Machynlleth.

More stunning scenery follows heading into the Snowdonia National Park via Dolgellau and Blaenau Ffestiniog - home of the World famous narrow gauge steam railway.

All passes in Snowdonia are beautiful and a thrill to drive, narrow roads, stone walls, humps, and with a “Daily Challenge” (or two !) add to the excitement of the event.
