Round Britain 2012 Land Classes
Participants can choose to enter the event in one of three classes:
Challenge Class
•The Challenge class is run in association with the British Racing and Sports Club (BRSCC), with participants competing for an historic BRSCC Trophy. Taking in the whole 10--‐day event from Weymouth around the UK coastline, with 10 social functions alongside all LAND, SEA and AIR participants including the Grand Finale event in Weymouth. Visiting venues including Anglesey Circuit (with pace car lap of the track), Conwy Castle and an evening reception aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia along the way. In addition to the driving distance each day, drivers will complete a daily challenge which goes towards their total score.
Challenge Class Package
• Entry for one car, driver and passenger into the RB12 LAND Challenge class - competing for the BRSCC Trophy
• BRSCC club membership for one year (non-racing)
• RB12 jacket – for driver and passenger
• RB12 car run pack – first aid kit, safety kit and RB12 goodie bag
• All daily challenges
• Entry fees to attractions and venues visited en route
• Picnic lunch per day for the driver and passenger
• Two places at each evening reception en route
• Two places for the Grand Finale reception and awards presentation
• All route maps and planning, rally door panels and event management
Price: £4,000 plus VAT
Tour Class
• For those to wishing take part in RB12 LAND but unable to allocate the full 10 days, Tour Class drivers will enjoy a three - day tour of some of the best driving routes of RB12, in one of two tours:
• South West Tour - soak up the atmosphere at the START of RB12 at Weymouth, then onto Falmouth with evening reception in The National Maritime Museum at Discovery Quay. For day two you drive the South West corner of the country from Falmouth to Swansea. For day three you drive the picturesque roads to Conwy Castle finishing with an evening reception within the castle walls.
• Scottish Tour ‐ staring from Troon you drive the scenic route to the Kyle of Lochalsh, then on to Thurso for day two. For day three you drive from Thurso ending in Edinburgh with an exclusive evening reception aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia.
Tour Class Package
• Entry for one car, driver and passenger into the Tour Class
• RB12 car run pack – first aid kit, safety kit and RB12 goodie bag
• All daily challenges
• Entry fees to attractions and venues visited en-route
• Picnic lunch per day for the driver and passenger
• Two places at each evening reception en route (x3 events)
• All route maps and planning, rally door panels and event management
Price: £1,450 plus VAT
Relay Class
• Aimed at car owner clubs, corporate teams or people who want to form a team for RB12, your task is to compete in our ‘Motoring Olympics' getting your relay baton around the UK following the RB12 LAND route using your team of up to 10 cars and drivers to complete the distance.
• A daily challenge will be presented to your team and you will be invited to join all LAND, SEA and AIR participants at the nightly social function on your Leg of the journey. Points are awarded during the route and a winning team declared, along with the satisfaction of getting your baton around the UK. Corporate teams and manufacturers are welcome to fully brand their participating cars.
Relay Class Package
• Entry for one relay team to the Relay Class (up to 10 cars/driver and co-driver)
• All daily challenges
• Entry fees to attractions and venues visited en route
• Picnic lunch per day for the driver and passenger
• Two places at each evening reception en route (10 venues)
• All route maps and planning, rally door panels and event management
Price: £3,500 plus VAT per team equivalent to £350 plus VAT per leg.
